A work in progress since 1948, the Crazy Horse Memorial®, located in South Dakota’s Black Hills, is the world’s largest mountain carving. The Mission of Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation is to protect and preserve the culture, tradition, and living heritage of the North American Indians. The site also hosts a museum and special events throughout the year.
