Stargazing at HTR Moab
Few places in the country rival the night sky over Moab. The town became an International Dark Sky Community in 2024, and HTR Moab Lodge & Cottages puts you within an hour of three certified Dark Sky Parks: Arches, Canyonlands and Dead Horse Point State Park. Spend the day on the trails, then head out after dark. Panorama Point and the Garden of Eden in Arches National Park are about 30 minutes from your cottage, and both rank among the best places for stargazing in Moab.
You don’t have to go far to look up, either. From the resort you’ll get clear views of the Moon, the bright planets and the major meteor showers. When the night gets cold, come back to a cozy cottage or a climate-controlled safari tent, and make a hot drink in the community kitchen.
